Indiana Soybean Alliance Board of Directors Elects 2010 Officer Team

 INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., (February 3, 2010) — White County grain farmer Lynn Teel was elected as president of the Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) at the January board of directors meeting in Indianapolis. Teel, of Chalmers, and the 24-member board of directors are responsible for investing Indiana’s soybean checkoff funds in projects that benefit Indiana’s soybean farmers.

Indiana Soybean Farmers Can Petition to Run in 2010 Director Election

Indiana Soybean Alliance Board of Directors represent Indiana soybean farmers from four districts in the state.  Directors are elected for a three-year term.  Elections take place every year  in the summer.  Listed below is the Director Expectation that explains an ISA director's responsibilities. Petitions for the 2010 Director Election are now being accepted and are due Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
