Checkoff & Policy: You Need Both

Soybean producers benefit from the work of the both the soybean checkoff and the membership & policy committee.

The ISA Policy Committee is the farmer's voice on critical public policy issues.  Farmers who who become members determine public policy positions on critical issues such as the farm bill, trade policy and biofuels legislation.  The Policy Committee is not funded with checkoff dollars.

The soybean checkoff contributed by Indiana farmers is used to fund research, promotion and educational programs to support the viability of Indiana’s soybeans in markets including new uses, exports, livestock, biofuels and more.
