Environmental Programs

Indiana soybean growers are stewards of their environment and rely on Indiana’s natural resources for their business success.  Farmers understand that they must continue to work to ensure future generations of farmers, as well as all Indiana residents, can continue to enjoy our state’s rich resources.

While largely focusing upon sustainability issues, ISA invests soybean farmers’ state soybean checkoff funds to leverage public and private funding to help farmers and their partners in agribusiness, environmental organizations, government and academia increase the understanding of complex environmental issues around soybean production and develop workable solutions.

ISA also focuses on the environmental impacts of the most important end uses of soybeans, including Livestock, Biofuels and Aquaculture.
